Not quite sure if I am doing this right but here goes.  The KHA site is looking really good - thanks to all who have got it up and running.  A real advantage to have a forum where people can communicate.  Was wondering if there will be an events page like on the old w/bite where all workparty dates and contacts will be provided.  If already here somewhere can someone let me know pls.
Hope there will be a good roll up at the Pretty Plain opening this Saturday. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it but perhaps someone can take photos for us .  I went down for the rebuild for a week in early December and had a great time with fab company as had previously been the case with other rebuilds.  This one was something special though!

I'm working on an Event's / News / Blog page on the new website, it's here. But that will only be an announcement, the main details will be on this Forum.

If you are a financial member of KHA, and correctly login to the forum with your supplied login / password, you can see the Workparties section where more specific details about workparty logistics can be found. This section is not visible to the rest of the internet (log off and try it) so you can post personal info such as phone numbers, home addresses and meeting arrangements with some degree of privacy, not 'secrecy' as some described it.

If a member wants to join a workparty they need only look at this part of the forum and read all about the arrangements and post a message. This dispenses with the email telephone roundabout I have had to endure previously, significantly reducing my workload 'herding cats'

It is not hard to use, any financial member supplied with a login/password can access the system with no more effort than sending an email. They can get one by emailing me hmosouth@kosciuszkohuts.org.au.

I would like all HMO's to eventually use this and HMO Namadgi has asked me to post a workparty. This will take quite a bit of time I expect.
