An enthusiastic group of KHA members and NPWS personnel gathered at Currango over the weekend of 26th/27th May 2012 to attend the GPS Workshop.
Coordinated by Megan Bowden, over two days we followed an action-packed program comprising basic GPS and map knowledge, tips on how to find sites, data storage and exchange, networking and much more. Presenters included Narelle Irvine, Klaus Neuscheler and David Scott. Stuart Garner assisted with site identifications.
Meals were plentiful and scrumptious – all prepared by Chan Garner from the Currango kitchen.
Everyone had a most enjoyable and productive weekend with the added bonus of a heavy fall of snow overnight on Friday adding to the Currango high country experience.
