This website is for sharing photographs of the huts of the High Country National Parks.

These huts were built by graziers, skiers and infrastructure authorities for accomodation from the late 1800's through to mid-nineteenth century. With the creation of the Kosciuszko Park in June 1944, NPWS gradually took over management of the huts. The huts are now much loved places of refuge, rest and recreation for walkers and skiiers.
