Brief History

The ACT Forest Huts were built in 1966 for the plantation of the Boboyan Pine Forest. Site consists of a small hut (former lunch shelter), a bulldozer shed, and a rainwater tank.

The hut was used by the forestry gang for lunch and at other times for shelter. The larger building was constructed at the same time as a machinery shed to house the bulldozer.

These huts were preserved for their heritage value and may be used for temporary shelter.
