Also known as Joyce Creek Hut.  Joyce Creek, Raglan Range

Raglan Range Hut (Joyce Creek) was built as part of the Bradshaws operation for removing King Billy Pine from the southern slopes of the Raglan Range.

Logs were hauled up a haulage way to a saddle in the range, and then lowered on a cableway to a track near the Cardigan River.

The Raglan Range Hut was brought back from the brink in the late 1980s by Terry Reid. Terry was then a teacher at Murray High School in Queenstown, and he organised it as a school project. He has since had a career change and is PWS Ranger on Maria Island.
