 NSW HUT REBUILDS UPDATE

Bradley's /O'Briens Hut and Brooks Hut now completed. Possible formal opening dates early February. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further information and date confirmation.

Four Mile Hut and Yans Slip Rails- Work to begin on hut in early January. Members from Nordic Ski Club caretakers, to assist on site as per roster. Slip rails to also be installed hopefully 2 January.

KHA will be supplying the new wood stove for Four Mile hut from donations received after the 2020 fires.

 ACT HUT REBUILDS UPDATE

A project inception meeting  for the hut rebuilds will take place in Mid February 2024.Simon Buckpitt and Geoff Ashley to attend with President and /or Vice President.

KHA AGM ADVANCE NOTICE

The 2024 KHA AGM will be held on Saturday 18 May commencing at 1pm. Location will be  Rydges Horizons at Jindabyne. We hope to get as many members there as possible as there will be a number of updates to the KHA Constitution which will need to be approved by members at the meeting. More information as it comes to hand.

The KHA Committee wishes all members a very happy Festive Season and all good wishes for the New Year.  Hope you are enjoying the Calendar and Newsletter if you requested one.

Long Plain Hut Workparty - 15th to 19th January or part thereof, camping on site. Scraping, graffiti removal and rabbit proofing. If interested contact Margaret Anderson directly - 0457 999 965

KNP Snowy

It`s full steam ahead at the Bullock`s hut complex with the worst of the damage to the blockwork both interior and exterior being repointed and patched. This could only be done once the paint was stripped and the render removed. This is a massive job, and quite tedious at times, but Shane and Nigel from NPWS are amazing, and we, KHA, commend them on their diligence and committment.
