Steve Brayshaw Collection

This was taken about 1952 after Uncle Richard Sold it to Morris Luton, Tom and I spoke a lot about it (Bobeyan), please note the spelling this is the traditional spelling of it - not what the current spelling is.

Taken whilst removing it in 1972

This was found under the floor at Bobeyan when Neville Locker was removing the building.

During a heavy snow fall (unsure of the date)

During its removal with the iron removed showing the shingled roof.

David Brayshaw and Gilbert Locker - These guys were brother in laws

David Brayshaw - Born 29th July 1852 died from exposure from a fall from his horse at Bobeyan on the 31st August 1931.

David Brayshaw's Hut -This is a photo taken after the resumption and before KHA had started to think about restoring it to its original form, taken in the 70’s shows the vandalism

Edward Brayshaw - This is the chap who built Uncle David’s Home, his brother and Tom’s grandfather

Richard and Janet Brayshaw - Richard and one of his sisters, Richard was the last inhabitant of Bobeyan.

Richard Brayshaw and Morris Luton - This photo was taken just down the road from Bobeyan homestead, Morris had his little bulldozer removing a rather large rock that was on the side of the road into Bobeyan, Uncle Richard was truly amazed at this incredible machine and what it could do.

Richard Brayshaw - Born 5th July 1865 at Bobeyan and died at Rosevue, the property of Morris Luton.

Curtis Woolshed - This is the woolshed that was on the hill to the right of the hut, nothing remains of it today.
