ACT Forests Hut
Located in Namadgi National Park approximately 200 metres uphill and to the east of the Old Boboyan Road.
Brief History
The ACT Forest Huts were built for the plantation of the Boboyan Pine Forest. Site consists of a small hut (former lunch shelter), a bulldozer shed, and a rainwater tank.
The hut was used by the forestry gang for lunch and at other times for shelter. The larger building was constructed at the same time as a machinery shed to house the bulldozer.
These huts were preserved for their heritage value and may be used for temporary shelter.
