Forestry Hut

Located under Mt Coree off a branch of Warks Road.

History

This hut was built as a shelter for workers who planted the surrounding pine trees and is now a popular spot in the pine forest, as a picnic shelter.

The hut was burnt down in the 2003 fires.

Construction

Corrugated iron over sawn timber and pine poles.
